The paper shelter

 I've made a card this morning for The paper shelter where the theme is Christmas.

I had some geometric offcuts which I used to make this card. As they're red and green I thought they would be suitable.

Double D challenge

 Today I have made 2 Christmas cards.

My first is for Double D challenge. where the theme is either snowman or Santa.

I opted for a snowman.

The second one used a funny saying I cut from another card.

 I've been making more layouts for the Counterfeit kit bingo.

Soul scrappers colour challenge plus brights.

 I had a colour challenge plus needed brights for Counterfeit kit challenge.

Here's the colour theme.

I had a photo of the swimming pool where I stayed in Florida. I even had the business card. 

Using offcut strips, I constructed my background colour bands then matted in white. I added gold title saying chill out and some co-ordinating hearts.

Challenge yourself and others.

 There's been a gap on this blog because I went on a cruise early November through the Panama Canal. It was lovely and I have taken several hundred photos.

Since then, I've caught influenza A and I'm currently still quite sick with it. The weather is hot and I'm lethargic as well.

Today I have made a layout featuring myself and some of the island of Aruba.

 I'm entering it at Challenge YOUrself.

Here's a close up of that cluster. I used a tiny filmstrip I had. It symbolizes the fact I was taking photos constantly. 

Moving along with the times

 This next card is for Moving along with the times. They have asked us to make the sentiment the main feature.

Using a rub-on I made my sentiment on plain white paper. The background snowy village paper matched perfectly, and I had ribbon that also matched. I kept it simple as the paper is busy.

This next card is for Christmas crafts all year around.

The theme is hard candy. I know a little boy who loves candy canes, so with him in mind I made this.

Festive Friday

 

At Festive Friday they have this combination of elements. I'm in production of Christmas cards so used red, wreath and buttons on this card.
